The Teak Surface Mount composite fence at this nominal 6 × 6 ft size contains twelve boards. Its horizontal composite fence layout keeps one composite color throughout the joined infill, with one rail set between the posts.

Steel posts with welded base plates provide a Surface Mount connection. Finished posts stand 74 inches high, two inches above the 72-inch fence.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):

Structural defects in Teak boards and covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
Covered Teak board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.

For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.

Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.

Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.

Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.

For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.

Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.

We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

The full-privacy infill keeps all 12 horizontal composite boards in Teak.
Teak provides the wood-grain face of the panel, alongside Private Black steel posts.
Painting, staining and sealing are not part of the composite boards' regular care.
Steel post bases are factory-welded, while the customer arranges the ground anchors for Surface Mount.
