Sixteen upright Teak boards form the wood-grain body of this vertical composite fencing. Two horizontal LINE steel slats leave an open detail across the top. Together, the two infill areas make a nominal 8 × 7 ft fence panel.
Teak composite materials combine wood fibers with recycled plastic. The board faces resist moisture, insects, rot and fading. They need no regular painting, staining or sealing. Private Black powder coating helps the upper galvanized steel slats resist corrosion and outdoor wear.
Use one vertical rail set around the joined board body and separate LINE connectors for the top. Four Teak packs supply the sixteen boards; one LINE pack supplies both slats. Posts and connection products are separate purchases. Browse the vertical composite fencing options to compare the board layouts.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):
- Structural defects in Teak boards and covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Covered Teak board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
- Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
- Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.
For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.
Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.
Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.
Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.
For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.
Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.
We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.
Email service@mymodernyard.com with purchase records, photos, product details and the issue. Expect a decision or next steps within 7–14 business days. Contact Modern Yard for full warranty terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the seven-foot size refer to the boards alone?
Seven feet covers the full fence, including its slatted top. The drawing specifies an 84-inch fence height and 86 inches of post above ground, with 28 inches below.
Are the two LINE slats part of the Teak board packs?
Order one LINE pack separately from the four Teak packs. Add one Vertical Fence Rail Set and the listed upper-slat hardware. An independent bay needs two posts; joined bays share supports.
What cleaning does the Teak composite need?
Use mild soap and water with a soft brush or cloth on the board faces. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive tools. Routine painting, staining and sealing are unnecessary for this composite.
