These Redwood vertical composite fence panels use sixteen upright pieces in a nominal 8 × 3 ft section. Private Black steel posts and rails frame the wood-grain faces. Full privacy describes the closed board pattern within the low fence height.
The composite material combines wood fibers and recycled plastic. Redwood composite resists moisture, rot, insects and fading and needs no regular painting, staining or sealing. Its natural wood appearance comes from the wood-grain composite face. Redwood identifies the color rather than solid redwood lumber.
Two Redwood packs supply eight full-length boards. Cutting each board into two short pieces produces the sixteen pieces required for this fence height. One Vertical Fence Rail Set includes the galvanized steel U rails and aluminum connectors. Plan the matching posts and rails with the vertical composite fencing system.
The In-Ground layout uses short posts made from 114-inch stock. Each installed support has 38 inches above ground and 12 inches below. When planning composite fencing systems, count shared support locations and free ends to determine the stock and post caps for the full run.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):
- Structural defects in Redwood boards and covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Covered Redwood board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
- Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
- Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.
For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.
Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.
Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.
Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.
For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.
Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.
We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the material list show two packs rather than sixteen boards?
Each pack contains four original Redwood boards. This low fence takes two installed pieces from each original board, so eight boards provide sixteen pieces. Use the cut plan for this height when ordering; the same pack count does not apply to taller panels.
How many posts and caps should I allow for?
One standalone bay needs two short supports. A 114-inch stock post can supply both, but its kit includes only one cap. Add one cap for that pair. For connected sections, count each shared post once and calculate the cap shortfall from the full layout and available supplies.
What does routine Redwood board care involve?
Wash the board faces with mild soap and water, using a soft cloth or brush. Keep harsh chemicals and abrasive tools away from the composite surface. Redwood infill needs no regular painting, staining or sealing.
