Nine upright FireGuard panels form the closed face of this nominal 8 × 6 ft vertical metal privacy fence. The corrugated steel panels carry Private Black powder coating, with matching steel posts and rails framing the vertical pattern. This fence design uses joined metal panels rather than spaced LINE slats.
Galvanized steel makes up the panel bodies. Their factory-finished protective coating helps resist corrosion and outdoor weather exposure. Aluminum Panel Aligners join neighboring corrugated steel panels. The vertical rail system frames the infill.
One Vertical Fence Rail Set serves the section. Steel U rails frame the upper and lower panel ends. Aluminum connectors join the rails to the support system. The rail set is a separate purchase from the FireGuard panel packs and the steel post products.
Three packs supply the nine panels and nine aligners. Use eight aligners between the nine panels and keep one spare. The supplied spare does not add another panel position or change the completed fence width. Use the complete pack contents when planning the material order.
The In-Ground layout has a 72-inch fence height, a half-inch ground gap and posts extending 74 inches above ground without caps. The 98-inch posts provide the stated 24-inch depth below ground. Follow the engineering center spacing when setting out this nominal eight-foot section.
For a connected run, count each shared support once and include free ends. An isolated bay needs two posts. Review the corrugated metal fence system for the complete panel-and-rail arrangement before ordering.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):
- Structural defects in covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
- Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
- Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.
For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.
Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.
Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.
Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.
For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.
Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.
We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do three FireGuard packs make a complete fence bay?
They supply nine corrugated metal panels and nine Panel Aligners. This section installs all nine panels and eight aligners. Buy the Vertical Fence Rail Set and post products separately. The panel packs alone do not include the complete support system.
Which width should I use when setting the posts?
Eight feet is the nominal section width. The drawing calls for 96⅜ inches between post centers and an approximate 93¼-inch clear opening. Use these engineering dimensions for the support positions, rather than spacing post centers at exactly eight feet.
How is FireGuard different from the horizontal LINE layout?
FireGuard uses nine upright corrugated panels within steel U rails. The LINE privacy fence uses eighteen horizontal steel slats at the same nominal size. Its full-privacy connectors serve a different infill arrangement; select the parts for the chosen system.
