Private Black LINE Horizontal Semi-Privacy Metal Fence Panel with Half-Inch Gaps — 8 ft W × 5 ft H - Surface Mount

Style #:

LNH/G05PB13-96X60-SM

This half-inch-gap Surface Mount metal fence uses thirteen horizontal LINE slats. The nominal 8 × 5 ft panel has visible spaces between its Private Black steel rows.

This LINE fence system supports its horizontal slats with aluminum Base and Stackable Connectors. The galvanized steel infill has a powder coated finish to help resist corrosion and outdoor wear. Stainless steel L Connectors complete the upper connections. The half-inch spaces keep views open between the rows.

For this Surface Mount layout, trim the 74-inch steel posts from the top to a 62-inch finished height. Keep the welded bases intact and supply ground anchors separately. The panel stands 60 inches high, with a three-inch gap below the infill.

Order the slats, post products and semi-privacy hardware separately. The kit allowance in Component Needs is a share of a pack, with the required connector counts shown beside it. For a full run, combine those parts before rounding up to complete sales packs.

  • Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):

    • Structural defects in covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
    • Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
    • Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
    • Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.

For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.

Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.

Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.

Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.

For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.

Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.

We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

Email service@mymodernyard.com with purchase records, photos, product details and the issue. Expect a decision or next steps within 7–14 business days. Contact Modern Yard for full warranty terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

The half-inch openings between the slats are part of the semi-privacy design. They allow partial views through the panel. The three-inch ground gap is a separate space below the infill. Both dimensions apply to this five-foot layout.

For one panel, seven two-slat packs supply thirteen installed slats and one spare. The 6.5-pack figure shows the material used. Add the slat requirements for the full run before rounding the order to whole packs.

Use two welded-base posts for one free-standing panel. Trim them to the specified 62-inch finished height and buy ground anchors separately. Shared posts count once in a connected run. For example, two panels with free ends need three posts.
