Private Black LINE Horizontal Semi-Privacy Metal Fence Panel with Half-Inch Gaps — 8 ft W × 4 ft H - In-Ground

Style #:

LNH/G05PB11-96X48-IG

Eleven Private Black LINE horizontal slats create this horizontal metal fence with half-inch gaps. The nominal size is 8 × 4 ft, while the drawing gives this assembly a 49-inch fence height. Open rows divide the infill, with a separate half-inch clearance beneath the lowest slat.

The infill is galvanized steel with powder coating. Its protective finish helps resist corrosion and outdoor wear, while the horizontal rows give an outdoor space clean lines. Steel posts support the slats, with aluminum spacing connectors and stainless steel L Connectors for the connections.

Compare the metal fence options for material selection and open fence panel layouts. This eleven-row design uses two Base Connectors, twenty Stackable Connectors and two L Connectors. Match the installed quantities when planning complete hardware kits.

Eleven slats use 5.5 two-slat packs of material. Combine requirements for the full run before rounding up. The In-Ground supports use the 98-inch post product, trimmed for the specified layout. The drawing lists 51 inches of post above ground and 17 below; count shared supports and free ends when preparing the order.

  • Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):

    • Structural defects in covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
    • Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
    • Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
    • Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.

For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.

Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.

Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.

Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.

For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.

Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.

We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

Email service@mymodernyard.com with purchase records, photos, product details and the issue. Expect a decision or next steps within 7–14 business days. Contact Modern Yard for full warranty terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Four feet names the nominal size of this eleven-slat configuration. Its drawing specifies 49 inches for fence height and 51 inches for post height above ground. Use those dimensions alongside the nominal label for the installation layout.

Both dimensions are half an inch in this item, but they sit in different locations. The spacing is between adjacent slats. The ground clearance is beneath the lowest row. Retain the eleven-slat connector arrangement for this selected pattern.

Six LINE packs contain twelve slats. Install eleven and keep the remaining slat spare. For several bays, add the required slats before rounding the purchase. The hardware and two post supports for an independent bay are separate products.
