This composite privacy gate sets six vertical Redwood boards in a Private Black aluminum frame. The full privacy single gate has a closed board face and a nominal size of 3.5 × 3.5 ft.

These composite panels have a wood grain surface over a wood-fiber and recycled-plastic core. The boards resist moisture, insects, rot and fading. They need no regular painting or staining, and no routine sealing.

Two four-board packs supply six originals, leaving two unused. Buy the welded frame and steel posts separately for on-site assembly. Compare composite gate options by size and board direction.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):

Structural defects in Redwood boards and covered metal gate parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
Covered Redwood board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.

For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.

Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.

Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.

Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.

For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.

Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.

We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.
