Redwood Composite Horizontal Full Privacy Fence Panel — 6 ft W × 5 ft H - Surface Mount

Style #:

WPH/FPRD10-72X60-SM

Redwood wood-grain boards fill this Surface Mount composite fence from the bottom rail to the top rail. Ten joined boards make its full-privacy face across the nominal 6 × 5 ft section. Private Black metal outlines the horizontal pattern.

Wood fibers combine with recycled plastic inside the composite boards. Their protective wrap resists moisture and decay. This horizontal composite fence uses aluminum rails and galvanized steel posts, each with a welded base plate. Ground anchors are your separate purchase.

Plan the layout with the 61-inch fence height and 63-inch finished posts, rather than assuming the nominal size gives every installation dimension. One rail set supports the complete board stack. Fence panels connect through shared post locations, so the overall run determines the final post count.

    • Ten Redwood boards interlock within a single top-and-bottom rail set.
    • The joined infill has no deliberate gaps between board rows.
    • Wood-grain composite faces need no routine painting or staining.
    • Galvanized steel posts use welded base plates for Surface Mount support.
  • Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):

    • Structural defects in Redwood boards and covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
    • Covered Redwood board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
    • Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
    • Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
    • Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.

For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.

Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.

Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.

Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.

For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.

Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.

We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

Email service@mymodernyard.com with purchase records, photos, product details and the issue. Expect a decision or next steps within 7–14 business days. Contact Modern Yard for full warranty terms.

Each board pack contains four pieces. The ten installed boards equal a 2.5-pack material share for this fence panel. Combine the board requirements for all sections before ordering complete packs. Order the Horizontal Fence Rail Set and welded-base posts separately.

It names the stock product. For this 5 ft configuration, the finished post height is 63 inches above the mounting level, excluding the cap. The fence height is 61 inches. Use the engineering dimensions to set out the posts and panel.

For routine cleaning, use mild soap and water with a soft brush or cloth on the Redwood board faces. Regular painting, staining and sealing are unnecessary. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive tools when cleaning the boards.
