These composite double gates carry the horizontal Redwood board layout through the entrance. Twenty-two boards fill two separately supplied aluminum frames. Assemble the individual boards inside the frames to create the two composite panels. The composite fence gate combines wood-plastic composite infill with powder-coated metal parts. Cut one separately purchased LINE slat for the single crossbeam above both leaves.
Choose this version where the entrance meets a 7 ft fence. The paired gate is nominally 7 ft wide, while its leaves remain 6 ft high. The two steel posts have 86 inches above ground and 28 inches below. Those post dimensions belong to this crossbeam configuration.
When comparing composite gates, distinguish the board layout from the assembly and post requirements. Explore matching composite fence gates for other infill directions. Component Needs separates board stock, frame sets, posts, lock, handles and beam fittings so you can plan the complete order.

- Twenty-two Redwood boards form the horizontal full-privacy infill across both gate leaves.
- Two powder-coated aluminum frames hold the composite boards for assembly on site. The composite boards need no regular painting or staining.
- One separate LINE crossbeam spans the complete double-gate arrangement, rather than one beam per leaf.
- The dedicated In-Ground post layout joins a 7 ft fence while keeping the moving leaves nominally 6 ft high.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):
- Structural defects in Redwood boards and covered metal gate parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Covered Redwood board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
- Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
- Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.
For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.
Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes. The combination lock and outdoor handle set are outside the periods listed above. Contact Modern Yard for the applicable separate warranty terms.
Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.
Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.
For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.
Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.
We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.

Frequently asked questions
Does each side of the entrance need 22 Redwood boards?
No. Twenty-two boards cover both leaves together. Their material allocation is 5.5 four-board packs, not 22 packs or a preassembled filled gate. For a combined project, total the Redwood boards and usable stock before buying complete packs. Do not round each allocation separately and treat it as the final order.
How does this version differ from other gate options?
This version adds a separate crossbeam for a 7 ft fence connection. Use its own post layout: 86 inches above ground and 28 inches below from each 114-inch post. The gate leaves remain nominally 6 ft high. The ordinary version has its own installation dimensions, so do not interchange the two layouts.
Which parts should I distinguish when preparing the order?
Keep the Redwood board stock, two frame sets and separate beam stock as different products. The lock, handle set and posts also have their own entries.
The LINE allocation is half a two-slat pack for one crossbeam after cutting. Its separate half-set hardware share covers two Base Connectors, two L Connectors and eight fixing screws. Whole-pack purchases depend on the combined project requirements and available stock.
