This corrugated metal fence combines nine upright FireGuard panels with two horizontal LINE slats. A joined ribbed body fills the lower area, while the open top leaves partial views. Both infill types use the Private Black finish in this nominal 8 × 7 ft fence section.
Galvanized steel forms the corrugated metal panels and the LINE slats. Protective powder coating helps these steel faces resist corrosion and outdoor weather exposure. The vertical rail set frames the lower body. Aluminum spacing connectors and stainless steel L Connectors support the horizontal topper.
Three FireGuard packs contain nine corrugated steel panels and nine aluminum aligners. Use eight aligners between the nine panels and keep one unused. One separate LINE pack provides the two top slats. The posts, vertical rail set and topper hardware are separate fencing products.
Seven feet describes the complete fence design, including the open top. The drawing lists an 84-inch fence height, with posts extending 86 inches above ground and 28 below. Each support uses a full 114-inch post. Explore the corrugated metal fence collection to compare the other panel arrangements.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):
- Structural defects in covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
- Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
- Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
- Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.
For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.
Qualifying defects under normal use must meet the written terms, including color and coating claim conditions. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.
Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.
Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.
For approved claims, Modern Yard refunds or replaces defective parts. The original net purchase price determines the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.
Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.
We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. This changes if required by law or if Modern Yard expressly agrees in writing.
Email service@mymodernyard.com with purchase records, photos, product details and the issue. Expect a decision or next steps within 7–14 business days. Contact Modern Yard for full warranty terms.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which packs supply the body and open top?
Buy three FireGuard packs for the nine lower metal fence panels and one LINE pack for the two upper slats. Add the vertical rail set, topper connectors and steel posts separately.
Are the openings above the body all the same size?
The gap above the body's upper rail is 1½ inches. The space between the two LINE slats is 1⅝ inches. For joined horizontal rows at this size, compare the 8 × 7 ft closed LINE fence.
Why does the order supply nine aligners but use eight?
One aligner joins each neighboring pair of FireGuard panels. Nine panels create eight joints, leaving one supplied aligner spare. The open topper uses its own six Base Connectors, two Stackable Connectors and two L Connectors.
