Choose this Surface Mount composite fence for a Charcoal horizontal layout with visible 1-inch gaps. Five wood-grain boards form a semi privacy fence panel, nominally 6 ft wide × 3 ft high. The infill mixes wood fibers with recycled plastic.

Steel posts attach through welded base plates, while an aluminum rail set holds the boards across the opening. Order boards, posts, rails and spacing parts separately. Supply the anchors for the mounting surface; each finished post stands 39 inches above the mounting level.

Limited warranty periods (residential / commercial use):

Structural defects in Charcoal boards and covered metal fence parts: up to 25 / 10 years.
Covered Charcoal board color changes: up to 25 / 10 years.
Coastal metal coating defects: up to 5 / 3 years.
Non-coastal metal coating defects: up to 15 / 10 years.
Covered metal finish fading, all locations: up to 8 / 5 years.

For metal coating coverage, use the nearest shoreline of an ocean, sea or saltwater bay. Salt or brackish tidal estuaries also count. Measure in a straight line from the installed part. A distance of 10 miles or less is coastal; farther away is non-coastal.

Claims must meet written terms. Normal use, color and coating claim conditions apply. Metal coverage applies only to covered parts and eligible factory finishes.

Normal airborne coastal salt and salt spray alone do not exclude qualifying coating claims. The metal warranty excludes direct saltwater immersion or splash damage.

Remaining coverage transfers with property ownership. Products must stay at the original site. Keep records of the products and original purchase date. Transfer or replacement does not restart coverage.

For approved claims, we refund or replace defective boards or parts. The original net purchase price sets the amount. The amount drops over time under the warranty schedule.

Metal coating compensation is 100% in the term’s first half, 50% in the second. Other claims follow separate schedules.

We do not pay for labor, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight or shipping. We pay if the law requires it or Modern Yard agrees in writing to pay these costs.
