Solid Screening or Spaced Steel Slats
LINE horizontal steel slats create a continuous privacy screen or spaced designs with flexible levels of openness.
A Continuous Privacy Screen
Full-privacy LINE fencing brings the slats together for a closed horizontal surface. The six-foot full-privacy configuration combines eighteen steel slats with matching posts and hardware in a nominal eight-foot-wide section.

Powder-Coated Galvanized Steel
LINE fence slats use galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish. The rectangular, nominal one-by-four-inch profile gives each row its flat face and defined edges.

Private Black Finish
Private Black carries across the steel slats and coated metal supports. Closed and spaced configurations share the same finish, keeping the fence visually coordinated across different privacy patterns.

Matching Steel Posts
Steel posts support the horizontal slats. In-Ground configurations use the specified post length for their height; Surface Mount configurations have posts with welded base plates.
Steel Slats with a Coordinated Support System
LINE brings the fence infill, supports and connection hardware into one coordinated design.
Hardware Made for Each Pattern
Full-privacy LINE configurations use the matching hardware kit with EVA. Semi-privacy systems use base, stackable and L connectors in quantities matched to the slat pattern. Together, these parts connect the horizontal infill to its supports. Individual configurations show their included components.

LINE Fencing for Changing Landscapes
LINE horizontal metal fencing can be used on slopes, in stepped sections and in angled layouts.
Sloping Ground
LINE's horizontal steel slats bring their clean, modern look to sloping fence runs.
Stepped Sections
Stepped sections follow changes in elevation while preserving LINE's horizontal slat pattern.
Angled Fence Runs
Side-mount U-channels and mounting wedges support angled connections between fence sections.
Complete Your LINE Fence with a Matching Gate
LINE horizontal gates carry the look into the entrance. Their powder-coated aluminum leaves arrive preassembled, with the infill already in place.
Small Front Yard Gate
The small LINE semi-privacy gate is nominally 3.5 feet wide and 3.5 feet high. Its open horizontal slats and Private Black finish coordinate with lower LINE fences.
Taller Single Gate
The LINE full-privacy single gate is nominally 3.5 feet wide and six feet high for side-yard or walkway access. Its closed aluminum leaf continues the fence's horizontal appearance.
Double Gate
The LINE double gate pairs two preassembled leaves in a nominal seven-foot-wide, six-foot-high configuration. Open one leaf for everyday access or both for the wider opening.
LINE Horizontal Metal Fence FAQ
Is LINE a Horizontal Steel Fence?
Yes. Fixed LINE fencing uses horizontal galvanized steel slats and steel posts. Matching preassembled LINE gate leaves use aluminum. Both have a Private Black powder-coated finish. See the LINE slat fire-test information.
How Is LINE Different from Corrugated Metal Fencing?
LINE uses horizontal rectangular slats in closed or spaced patterns. Corrugated metal fencing uses interlocking vertical steel panels with a ribbed surface.
How Does LINE Compare with Horizontal Composite Fencing?
LINE has metal slats in Private Black. Horizontal composite uses wood-look boards with its own rails and fittings. Both offer full-privacy and semi-privacy layouts. Our horizontal fence overview compares these two systems.
