Modern Yard FireGuard panels are designed for vertical installation and are not recommended for horizontal installation. Because of FireGuard’s bold, wide-panel profile, installing the panels horizontally can cause dust, debris, and moisture to collect in the panel grooves over time. This can affect the fence’s appearance and increase cleaning effort and long-term maintenance. For the best visual result and long-term performance, FireGuard panels are intended to be installed vertically as part of the Modern Yard Vertical and Gate Systems.

For vertical installation, a standard FireGuard fence section is 8 feet wide and 6 feet high.
