No. A passcode-free operating mode must be configured during manufacturing. All mechanical combination locks currently offered by Modern Yard require a passcode for normal locking and unlocking.

In many cases, difficulty opening or closing the lock is caused by the gate latch and keeper becoming misaligned rather than by a problem with the lock itself.For example, if the gate is installed before the concrete surrounding the posts has fully cured, the weight of the gate may gradually pull the gate-side post out of alignment. Ground movement, insufficient post support, or posts that were not installed completely plumb may also affect alignment over time. When the latch and keeper are no longer level, the gate may become difficult to open, close, or lock.Check that both gate posts remain plumb and that the latch is properly aligned with the keeper. Contact your installer if the posts or gate require adjustment.
